We are funded by individuals, foundations and companies who recognise the importance of what we do for the world's economy and society. We are committed to the highest standards of research and preserve our independence by adhering to a code of conduct:
We limit the amount of funding from any particular company to a maximum of 5% of turnover in any given financial year.We do not take paid commissions or consultancy work.
Donors are not shown research before it is published.
Our accounts are inspected by an independent board of trustees.
Gift Aid
As a registered charity in the UK, donations from taxpayers can be given under the Gift Aid scheme. This means that for every £1 that is given, we receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue.
UK companies may also donate under Gift Aid to offset their donation against Corporation Tax.
