The GI's publishing programme

The Globalisation Institute has three different schemes in place for its publications. For works that give a general overview of a subject or provide and expert opinion of how policy can be implemented in the future, we have the Cobden Papers series. Our preferred length for these publications are 8000 - 1000 words. For works that aim to open debate on a subject, we have Working Papers (the word length is by negotiation but generally quite short). The idea of these is not necessarily to have a complete idea of how to solve a problem, but to progress understanding and debate. Finally, we have a Research Monograph series. These publications are academic refereed by relevant members of our Academic Advisory Council and others with specialized expertise of the subject. We welcome proposals for papers by e-mail.
